The property is a Grade II listed cottage in Shermanbury Sussex. The house was constructed circa 1650 as part of the Ewhurst Manor Estate. It is timber framed with brick infill and clad with plain tiles.
The extension provides an enlarged kitchen and dining area. The entrance door is under a porch with an oak post, beams and corner braces.
The roof is plain clay tiled and the external walls rendered or tile hung to match the existing.
